If you are athletes or lovers of rafting, there is that about 120 kilometres from Portorož. 20 kilometres from Portorož there is the ipica, where, for more than 100 years, are bred racehorses, lipicanec which are known all over the world. About 10 km further there are the caves of Postojna. It is a unique experience to visit these caves with small train.
