The cottage is decorated to a high standard throughout and an ideal home while away from home. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a dishwasher and washing machine. The relaxing open planned lounge has a TV/DVD and a selection of books, games and even a wooden train set! We have much information about what to do locally and recommendations for places to eat out. Two bathrooms are popular for families. All towels are provided and the heating is included if required. The south facing decking area is ideal for eating and drinking while admiring the ever changing view as the tide comes in and out and watching distant passing trains, shellfish pickers or the rich variety of birds. The wooded garden area is private and not overlooked.
This is an area of castles, coastline and countryside. Explore the beaches and bays of the Gower Peninsula was Britain's first designated area of outstanding natural beauty. The vibrant city of Swansea is close by as is Carmarthen, said to be the oldest town in Wales and the home of the mythical Merlin. A trip west takes you to the rugged coastline of Pembrokeshire and to the north the wild walking area of the black mountains and the Brecon Beacons. We are situated half way along the wonderful Millenium Cycle path. At one end is the wild bird sanctuary, at the other is Pembrey Country park, one of Wales' most visited locations with the expanse of Cefn Sidan beach and many things for a full day out. So many family attractions both inside and outside whatever the weather. The National Botanical Gardens is very popular. Excellent sporting facilities with top quality golf courses, horse racing and the home of the famous Scarlets rugby team.
Situated half way between Llanelli and Burry Port in the village of Pwll. Easy access to all the attractions of the region as well as to the main shops, places to eat and other local amenities. A car is recommended and there is plenty of parking space. The ramp is suitable for wheelchairs.
