A beautiful oak staircase leads to the third floor with another double bedroom. Ground floor shower room with shower, washbasin and WC, first floor bathroom with bath, washbasin and WC. There is a secluded rear garden, a perfect suntrap, and additional large garden bordering the forest. Parking for two cars. Peaceful location with no through traffic. The cottage is located in beautiful countryside, perfect for walking and cycling, and the Coetquen Forest is wonderful to explore with its lakes, ancient trees and monoliths. The Rance valley is a wonderful place to explore. Only 3 miles from the cottage the River Rance offers boat trips, canoeing, walks, restaurants and lovely beaches. The cottage is set at the centre of a vast tourist region of great merit. The Emerald Coast with its superb sandy beaches, secluded sandy river and lake beaches, the famous Mont-Saint-Michel, a variety of chateaux and castles and numerous attractions for children from zoos to go karting, are all within easy reach. In the summer months local villages put on a variety of festivals and fetes, ranging from concerts, ancient vehicle shows, cycle races to traditional craft shows and these are highly recommended. The Fete de Ble (festival of wheat) in nearby Pleudihen is a truly magnificent example with traditional folk dancing, circus acts, wheat threshing using ancient and modern machinery, weaving, cider making and other activities too numerous to mention. Some of these festivals are free to attend, others charge only a small fee. The Fete des Remparts takes place in Dinan every two years, the next being in July 2016. This is a celebration of Dinan's medieval history and the whole city is decorated and transported back in time, with jousting spectacles amongst the many events.
