St. George's Cathedral is the symbol monument of the Sicilian Baroque, listed on the World List by UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The interior of the church is five aisles, with 22 columns ending with Corinthian capitals. Among the aisles to attract attention is a wonderful four-keyboard organ built between 1885 and 1888. Various paintings grace the walls of the Church including Paladini's Assumption, the Nativity of Carlo Cane and the Our Lady of the Snow by Mancini and Berrettaro.
