Come and stay in Scheveningen! A nice home, near the beach and the boulevard. Near sun, sea and sand.
The accommodation is on a unique location less than 150 metres from the beach of Scheveningen, which is less than a 2-minute walk! But in other ways it's a top holiday location. The Scheveningen boulevard is only a 5-minute walk away. The boulevard offers many opportunities to relax and enjoy. Think of the spa town of Vitalizee, the cosy terraces on the beach, but also for example the museum Beelden aan Zee, with the free sculpture garden. The fairy tale pictures are specially designed for the younger visitors, but are interesting for young and old. Especially during the summer, many activities take place around and on the beach of Scheveningen, such as surfing competitions, kiteboard competitions, the kite festival, beach volleyball, golf, the sand sculpture festival in april and may, Vlaggetjesdag in June and the fireworks festival in July and August.
The house is situated near the old town of Scheveningen village. The Keizerstraat - just around the corner - has more than 100 stores. In addition, the street many cozy shops. Also there are plenty of occasions for lunch and dinner. And of course the Keizerstraat has a lot of cosy bars where you can eat for reasonable prices. In summer the Keizerstraat is a shopping promenade where are no cars. In the Keizerstraat - one of the oldest shopping streets of Netherlands - you will find several monuments. First of all, from the house you have a view of the old church. In addition, in the Keizerstraat you can see the property where Prince William of Orange has spent the first night after arriving in Netherlands in 1813. Furthermore, there are 10 monumental buildings in the Keizerstraat. For children there is also plenty to do. Probably there is nothing more exciting for them than playing on the beach and building sand castles. But in case of bad weather there are great facilities such as a Petting Zoo, Sealife, playground, trampoline jumping, and much more.
The property is easily accessible by public transport, with a tram stop within 100 metres. For those who come by car, also no problem: in the street and surrounding area there is (still) free parking.
