Capuccino and Cornetti at Caffe Del Sole di Agnese, Via Nazionale just down the road on the left towards Arzachena. Open street market in Cannigione on Monday, Arzechena on Wednesday and the bit-too-chic-for-me one at San Pantaleo on Thursdays. In the evening, eat out or prepare a meal and dine on the veranda or move downstairs and barbecue the fish or sucking pig you bought that day in the market after which a stroll down to the waterfront evening market for a browse and ice cream.
Fascinating walks in mountains sculptured by wind and rain and challenging rock climbs. Start in San Pantaleo 15 minutes by car from Cannigione. A vast choice of breathtaking beaches not forgetting La Sciumara, Barca Bruciata, La Piscina, Capriccioli, Long Beach, Grande Pevero or the spectacular rocks and tiny coves at Punta Sardegna. Round off the day on he beach and jetty in Cannigione minutes by foot and so relaxing to lie on the beach or dive off the jetty in the evening capturing the warmth of the last rays of the setting sun. Meditation: take the Luogosanto road out of Arzechena. Half way to Luogosanto look out for a small picnic spot on the right and from there 400 steps lead up through the rocks to a tiny church, Chiesa di San Leonardo.
